This week we set up the new crib and discussed Nursery plans for Baby Robinson. This was a lot of fun to create. It can be found on the Rattles and Rhymes website. As of right now, we are patiently waiting until next Tuesday which will be my first doctors appointment! I've changed my mind about ten times on what OBGYN I want to use but I've finally decided to go with Dr. Jenkins in Gainesville and deliver at Northeast Georgia Hospital. Also this week, Josh told his closet friends about the baby. Most surprised was Lee. I knew he would be because he's most kind out of all those meat heads! haha...

Me: Almost 9 weeks
This is the first picture of the photo journal. As of today, I'm 8 weeks and 4 days along. I'm feeling really tired and i'm spending most of my days sleeping. I had my iron checked this morning and everything is great! The baby is getting plenty of oxygen. Amazing! I've gained one pound. According to the doctor I could gain 4 more pounds because i'm actually slightly underweight for as far along as I am! Can you believe that?! That's a first! Well Anyways, enjoy the photos! more to come.

IntelliGender Quest
This week we heard about the new "craze" IntelliGender. Here's what the website has to say:
Girl or Boy?
Share the joy!
IntelliGender's Gender Prediction Test bridges the curiosity gap between conception and sonogram. Our urine-based test is easy to perform in the privacy of your home, with results ready in minutes! Our Gender Prediction Test is the fun pre-birth experience moms are talking about! Discover whether you may be having a boy or girl as early as 6 weeks pregnant.Interesting right?? So, I set off on a quest to RiteAid just to fulfill my curiosity. I paid $28.99 for the new IntelliGender as seen on NBC and Dr. Oz. Here's how it works; you pee in a cup, use a syringe to extract a sample and place it in the indicator. If you're pee turns orange its a girl, if it turns greenish-black, its a boy. Since the test has to be done first thing in the morning at 6a.m. this is what we read:

SURPRISE!
So, this may come as a shock but Josh and I are having a baby!
On October 1, 2011, I felt really sick. I had been feeling this way for about a week now and Josh said, "Well, do you think you're pregnant?" I didn't think I was but he insisted on taking a pregnancy test, we did and....here we ARE!
Furthermore, I took the test and was too afraid to look at the results. I let Josh take a peek and he came out of the bathroom pale as a ghost, which isn't that unusual for him, but he had the look of sheer horror and says, "You're pregnant!" Immediately following that he cried for about an hour... but after a day or two he began to love the idea of having a little BOY. I hear him periodically whispering, "Please Lord, let it be a boy." However, these things are 50/50!
So, we decided to keep a diary of the week-by-week excitements and challenges. According to the doctor, i'm about 7 weeks and will be due
MAY 2012!
WEEK 7: In the Beginning...
MOOD: Scared but happy
DISLIKES THIS WEEK: Sweets & soda
DOCTOR: Still undecided
HOSPITAL: Northeast Georgia Medical Center
DISAPPOINTMENTS: No more Margaritas :o(
WEIRD FACT: 7 of my friends are pregnant & all 7 are having girls!
SLEEP: Ok but I keep biting my tongue
HUSBAND: Quiet and confused most days but overall thrilled
IN-LAWS: EVERY excited!! James won't stop crying.
DAUGHTER: Cadence wants a baby sister.
WEIGHT: I've lost 5 pounds
BIGGEST REACTION: Dreama, for about ten minutes she stood
there and screamed,"Oh my God! Really?! You're lying!"
This week we decided to only tell family members since the pregnancy isn't far along. We plan to tell all of our close friends in about 4-5 weeks. So I wont post this until then...
